| Introduction | I've been married to Fraser for 52 years we have three grown Children, Lori,Doug and Jeff. We have three grandchildren Jack,Renee and Brandon. I've been sewing and doll making since I was a child...wish I could see the rag dolls I made for my younger sisters for Christmas..We Had a big family seven sisters and three brothers. I was the oldest sister...I would get in my mother's rag bag and hand sew dolls for my younger sisters.(I was in the 3rd grade)I don't remember my first quilting,but was told I was 5 when Grandma Wilmouth had me quilting on the big frame in her dining room. My quilting did'nt get started for many years later.My main focus was on clothing for my family and a few customers.I taught 4H sewing and adult sewing in my home.Shortly after we moved to Marquette from lower Mi in 1976 a quilt guild was formed....I took classes and have been hooked on quilting and have gone from traditional to Art Quilts.I have taught quilt classes and doll making. |
