Introduction	I’m a senior at UCSD currently completing my last quarter. I’ve always loved to eat. My obsession with food began at an early age and has grown over the years. My love of cooking developed more slowly and really took form when I moved for school. Fresh out of community college and living on my own for the first time, I was caught up in the hustle and bustle of my new life and found myself living off of grilled cheese and fast food. Though these are some of my favorite things, I figured unless I wanted to learn the meaning of freshman(or in my case)junior fifteen, there had to be a better way to eat on a budget. As someone who grew up eating super healthy, I went back to my roots and began trying out quick, healthy recipes, in the process discovering a passion for cooking. I created this website to showcase some of my favorite concoctions whose recipes stem from a variety of places including some of my favorite cooking magazines, family recipes, my own head or a combination of these. If you’re a college student like me who is short on time and cash, try your hand at some of these recipes and save that top ramen for a sick day.
