Introduction	While going through breast cancer treatment, I kept a blog on CaringBridge. It was a wonderful outlet for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed writing--although some of the posts were difficult to put into words. I also enjoyed reading the responses of family and friends, and the encouragement was what got me through a difficult time. I'm cancer free now but still going to follow-up oncology visits. If I need to update everyone about a health issue, I post it on CaringBridge, but I don't feel I have as much to write about now on the website. One of the main lessons I learned while undergoing treatment was that people were busy all around me living life and going and doing, just as they should be. Life continued to go on in spite of the fact that I was sick and often curled up in a fetal position in my bed. As I have gotten better, I've wanted to write but not always about my health. So, I decided to move my CaringBridge posts to this blog to bring me up to date. And from this point forward, I'll use this blog as a writing outlet since I am going and doing and living. Life really does go on.
