| Introduction | I am a second grade teacher in North Carolina and lover of all things education. My passion for education goes far beyond my day job. I love creating things for my classroom, as well as for other classrooms around the country. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my husband and our furbaby, Tucker. I could live off of Diet Coke and pizza alone, though I don't let myself indulge "too much" I love reading. All kids of reading... books for children, books for "grown-ups" and books for educators. I could spend hours on end at the book store finding new books to read to my class or on my own. I have a Masters degree in Reading and I am a certified reading specialist. My goal is to one day be able to step out of the classroom and teach teachers, either as a professor or as a curriculum support specialist! |
