| Introduction | My name is Elissa. In September of 2011, we sold our small business in Washington and we moved to Japan. We live in Kawasaki. My husband was born and raised here and helps me navigate. He has an English conversation school in Tokyo. We have two daughters, Miyo and Nanae. I love reading and I always find typos in every book. I love eating Japanese food but I miss Mexican. I am scared of germs but I hate bleach. My baby cried a lot when she was small, and now she screams a lot. I love drinking cold tea. I hate a crowded bus. I am terrified of cockroaches. My older daughter already corrects my Japanese. I still do not know how I like living in Japan. Maybe you can tell me. |
