| Introduction | My name is Tom Parkes, I am 24 years old, and I am a freelance 35mm photographer living in London, UK.
I have a keen interest in architectural photography and candid street photography, among other subjects. I choose to use 35mm film cameras as opposed to digital cameras, simply due to personal preference. I enjoy shooting a roll of film, and doing so has taught me to take a lot of time over my composition and not to rush my shots.
My primary camera is an Olympus OM-1n with Zuiko 28mm f/2.8, Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 and Zuiko 135mm f/3.5 lenses, however I also shoot using an Olympus Trip 35 with Zuiko 40mm f/2.8 fixed lens and a Lomo SMENA 8M with 40mm f/4 fixed lens.
For black & white images I tend to use Ilford films and for colour I mainly use Fuji and Kodak (see individual images for details).
