Introduction	Homemaker a.k.a. Domestic Engineer and gardener extraordinaire happily married for 30 years to Peter. We have one son, Kevin, who is a very busy college student. Aside from gardening,I enjoy antiquing with Peter (we love buying old pieces of furniture)and, of course, there is always time for a little bit of golf with friends and family. Long ago, before Kevin was born and when he was just a baby, I worked in retail management for companies like Grafinckel's, Hecht's and Macy's. I also worked for Liz Claiborne and Carole Little. My life has brought me to this beautiful place in the countryside of Northern Virginia where, I think, might be a tiny slice of heaven. Just one more thing...as a gardener, I'm a huge lavender enthusiast with a special interest in collecting, growing, harvesting and selling this captivating plant in it's many different varieties. You can catch me in the garden almost any time of the week, month or year and when I'm not there, I'm probably selling lavender crafts, Peter's paintings and wreaths and garden statuary and gifts for the gardener at any of the local fairs in the Northern Virginia Area. Just look for the "Blooming Hill" sign.
