Introduction | I never know what to say on these things! Married to a WAHD who is a Web Applications Developer (Programmer), he's been my best friend since we were four. I walk in Grace, a Friend of Jesus. I am a finder and seeker. reader, writer, Avid T-Tapper (ask me about it, dare ya!) addicted knitter, unrepentant coffee lover. Crunchy leaf chaser, pumpkin and Autumn reveler. I love slow days that involve time spent in the sunshine with the ones I love. Mama to five. I'm learning about trauma, learning how to heal from abuse. learning how to be a better human and parent, I enjoy traditional cooking and baking, I've kept my sourdough starter alive for 5 years now! Interested in unschooling, home education and not really knowing what I am doing. Sum it up: life is a process, not a program..its a little messy! |
Interests | Being with my husband, watching my babies grow, long walks by myself, reading, writing, making music, chasing leaves, autumn, pumpkins, Christmas trees, adventures. Parenting, learning, growing. |
Favorite Movies | Sabrina (with Harrison Ford), While You Were Sleeping, Sleepless In Seattle, Pride and Prejudice (both Focus Features and BBC), In Good Company, Devil Wears Prada, Miss Potter, Dan in Real Life. |
Favorite Music | Right now all I get to listen to is the cheezey music our keyboard cranks out. At least I get a sweet little recital with each song. The boogiewoogie is drilled into my brain forever. I'm really into Sara Groves right now... |
Favorite Books | I love to read, sadly don't have a lot of time. Mainly reading parenting books these days...Guilty pleasure books C.S. Lewis fiction books, Madeline L'Engle, Jan Karon (I have a crush on Father Tim and Cynthia, I admit it, okay), L.M. Montgomery (in my heart I am Anne- kind of), and Laura Ingles Wilder (though I find some stuff in her books too sad I love the history!) |
You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?
If I had to dig a hole to China I would start near a bathroom, I'm a Mom and some one always has to pee.
