| Introduction | I grew up in Aurora OR. on a Gurdjieff community called Two Rivers Farm. Growing up there, I was very sheltered and protected from outer influences. My family left "The Farm" when I was 12 where I was rocked by the harshness of public school at the rural Oregon Coast. I found solace in the wildness of Mother Nature...surfing and exploring the forest. At 18 I traveled to New York to study at the Rochester Folk Art Guild, also a Gurdjieff community. Where I focused on Pottery, basketmaking and community sustainablity. I than returned to Oregon to study art, dance and environmental education/recreation at University of Oregon. I left school after two years to travel abroad, where I found my gypsy artist self in New Zealand and Fiji. After 8 months of traveling I moved to the "Big" city of Portland to strive to be an appreciated artist. Finished my BA at Portland State University focusing on Dance and Painting. I now live in Ashland OR. and am still focusing on Dance, Painting, Environmental Education/Recreation and Music Production/Sound Healing with vocal performance. Bless this Earth Gaiama that blesses us! |
