| Introduction | It doesn't seem like that long ago that I was an elementary school teacher in my home town in Northern California, but it's been 23 years! It doesn't seem like that long ago that I took a year off from teaching and spent it on a sailboat in French Polynesia with my future husband,and best friend, Toma. That was in 1982, so I guess it was 29 years ago. It doesn't seem like I have owned and ridden the same mule now for 23 years. She'll be 26 this May, and that's been a lot of happy trails and poop picking! It doesn't seem like time should go by so quickly, but it does, especially when you've been having so much fun! |
