Introduction	I’m a wife, a mom, a friend, a volunteer, a runner, a soccer player but most of all a social drinker. And up till now that has always been at the end of my long list of things I do. Drinking has been a part of my life since high school, which is now over half a life time ago. It has always been there with me, at parties, holidays, sunny Saturdays, Friday nights, long weekends. Pretty much everything I do revolves or evolves in and around social drinking. Most everyone I hang around drinks socially so I fit right in. There’s just one problem…….I can’t just drink socially. So the other word for it is alcoholic. I’ve spent many years convincing, lying, manipulating myself in to believing I can control my social friend and finally I have reached a point where social has turned into something more. This is my beginning, the beginning to blogging my way to sobriety.
