Introduction I was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and after completing high school I attended the University of Cape Town, attaining a B.Soc Sci degree in English Literature and Psychology, and a Higher Diploma of Education. I was very active in Zionist Youth Movements, and upon completing my university studies, I emmigrated to Israel. My first 20 months were spent Hotel and Restaurant Management at the Tadmor Central Hotel School, and I subsequently worked in hotels and a restaurant. After spending a year in compulsory army service, I worked for ten years in various computer-related jobs before happily returning to the food industry. Today, I am the Catering Manager & Chef at an educational institute and run a small catering business too. Married in 2002 to my wonderful wife Rebecca, we have four lovely children: Ayelet Chen (born July 2004), Atara Sara (born December 2005), Yehudit (born May 2007) and Tuvia Mordechai (born October 2009).
