| Introduction | As a teacher educator, I visit many schools. I also come in contact with lots of great (and not so great) pre-service teachers and practicing teachers. Lately, a lot of what we see on television and in movies, read on websites and blogs, is incredibly one-sided. Poor performing schools get labeled as needing to be "turned around." Successful schools end up being the model for what we should be doing. The purpose of this blog is to change the way we see schools. This blog will give us all a chance to see great schools in action. We will profile home schools, public schools, independent schools, online schools, charter schools and any other school that we deem a "great school."
