| Introduction | I've been working in EMS since 1992, but only started firefighting in 2003. In 1992 I completed EMT and went so far as to dabble in ALS. I was certified as a CRT (EMT-I) in February 2006 and Paramedic in April 2007. I'm not new to this job, but I am new to being THE "P". And for the record, yes, I have to be both a firefighter AND a paramedic. I'm expected to be able to jump on whatever apparatus they need me to work on. I'm a damn lucky girl! |
