| Introduction | "Helping Hands of Hope" is a joint Danish-Uganda project. We are trying to create awareness and raise funds for the ugandan organization Hands of Hope. Based in the eastern part of Uganda, Hands of Hope is helping the local community by preventing diseases like cervical cancer and AIDS, educating children and adults, sports activities for young people and creating sustainable income generating projects for poor people in the area. In Denmark the partner organization is SFOF (www.sfof.dk). This blog and part of the project was started with the help of Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd (www.dfs.dk/) |
