| Introduction | I'm a 30-something GP (Family Medicine) in Greater Manchester. I consider myself European - I'm part Polish, Spanish, Scottish, Italian, French and Irish - but I also love the continent I live in. And not just for it's glorious annual Song Contest. Languages are my personal hobby - I enjoy being able to speak to others, as well as the subtle nuances that language and linguistics tell you about a culture. Politically I'm liberal and pragmatic. I strongly support making the UK's electoral system fairer, being part of the EU, and think we should give a far higher priority to the environment. My favourite places are: by the River Itchen in Southampton, where I grew up; La Cariheula in Andalucia; Lake Bohinj in Slovenia; and anywhere I can look up at a clear starry sky. |
