| Introduction | After spending years in prideful spiritual superiority, I finally came to see the beauty of the grace-gift of Jesus demonstrated by His sacrificial rescue on the Cross. I transferred my trust from my own self-righteous works to His perfect work and have continued on a journey of freedom ever since. By saturating myself in the truths written in God's Holy Word, I have found a peace, contentment and freedom that cannot be compared to anything. I refer to myself as a ragamuffin in constant need of rescue. Rescue from myself, my own strategies of trying to make my life work apart from total dependence on Jesus Christ. With the time I have hear on this earth, I enjoy sharing these spiritual truths with others and watching God rescue them. I do this formally by teaching an ongoing Bible course on the book of Galatians. I also do it informally as I enter into relationship with people, have tea with them, go watch a movie with them or by simply sitting down and talking about life issues. |
