constant jubilation
My blogs
| Introduction | Jersey girl--and yes, I'm still a local (state lines don't mean a thing). Living the young married life just outside our nation's capital, slowly evolving from a medievalist to an Americanist. |
|---|---|
| Interests | Theatre, reading voraciously, music, movies, shameless fangirling, extensive knowledge about useless things, all things Italian, learning foreign languages, writing, attempting to actually cook, my friends, my family, and yes my husband, dancing, though not necessarily well, and laughing as often as possible |
| Favorite movies | The Prestige, The Princess Bride, Love Actually, Waiting for Guffman, A Mighty Wind, Christopher Guest movies really, Good Night and Good Luck, Dark City, Cold Comfort Farm, musicals, Moulin Rouge, Monsters Inc, pretty much all the Pixar movies but that one's the best, Remember the Titans, Annie Hall, Disney movies of all sorts, especially The Sword in the Stone, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and the list goes on, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Star Wars trilogy, and I think you can probably guess which one I mean, anything Hugh Jackman makes even if it's not really good, any movie with an actor I like for that matter Also, there's no space here for TV shows, so: LOST, West Wing, Twilight Zone, Modern Family, Glee, Cash in the Attic, Cash Cab, MST3K, Whose Line, Frasier, Dancing with the Stars |
| Favorite music | Bruce Springsteen, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Josh Groban, U2, Temptations, Four Tops, Broadway musicals in general, They Might Be Giants, Damien Rice, Lisa Hannigan, John Legend, James Taylor, Beatles, U2, basically anything from Glee, more or less anything on the 60's station, men with raspy voices, and pop music, and yes that means current and past |
| Favorite books | This list would be more ridiculous than any other list on here. Check out my GoodReads, or keep up with my 52 in 2011. Or just ask. |
You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?
Since any attempt at wearing high heels would end in disaster, I'd surely end up in some kind of flat, or perhaps a boot. Who's hosting this ball, anyway?
