Introduction | Born and raised in New York, I spent many an afternoon at the Metropolitan Museum of art gazing at works by Dutch and Renaissance painters - an experience that influences my work to this day. I attended FIT in New York and worked for 20 years in the graphic arts industry. I currently live in Port Angeles, WA. In 1998 I started to pursue a career in fine arts. I have participated in numerous juried competitions and sold my work in diverse venues from art festivals to galleries. My work resides in hundreds of private collections and is presently in three permanent public collections that include The Corona Heritage Park Museum in Corona, CA, the Millard Sheets Gallery in Pomona, CA, and the Painted Ponies Project of Temecula, CA. The Internet for me is the final frontier and an ever expanding one. |
Interests | Arts, animals, especially cats, music, metaphysics, psychology, space - the final frontier, reading, good literature and mind candy, mystery novels, poetry, sci-fi |
Favorite Movies | The Day the Earth Stood Still, Air Force One (I'm a sucker for heroes), Daddy Long Legs, The Birdcage, Like Chocolate for Water, Independence Day and others too numerous to list. |
Favorite Music | Folk, classical, instrumental, 60's stuff. |
Favorite Books | Maeve Binchy's books, Taylor Caldwell books (Dear and Glorious Physician), old Classics, Mysteries, Sci-Fi, some fantasy - loved "Clan of the Cavebear" series. |
What reason do you have to believe the earth is flat?
It's actually not flat. It's hollow. There's a whole other place in the middle and that molten core is really a miniature sun.
