| Introduction | I have COPD and Bronchiectasis following a fire 7 years ago. I have been on oxygen 24/7 since. The last 6 months my condition has gone down hill and I can only go out shopping etc...if I am in a wheelchair. After a lot of extensive tests,I finally got onto the trasplant list on the 25th April 2008! Fingers crossed I will get my new lungs, and start my life again. I will not waste one minute of my gift..and will make sure that I use my new lungs to benefit others and raise awareness for organ donation as much as I can! |
