Introduction	Our blog is a set of posts based on the coming of age of Esperanza Cordero a young Mexican-American girl. Esperanza is the protagonist in the novel "The House on Mango Street" by Sandra Cisneros. Through our posts we will express our feelings towards different chapters throughout the book, that speak to us and display moments within Esperanza's life, as well as some of the other character's lives within the novel that in one way or another helped to impact their transformation from childhood to adulthood. We will also blog some of our own personal stories (most set in the form of vignettes, similar to the way that Sandra Cisneros wrote her chapters for The House on Mango Street) that have impacted our own coming of age.
