| Introduction | Josh Worrall is a second year Fine Art student, hailing from Hertfordshire, based in Norwich. iouka is a pseudonym of Josh Worrall. iouka meaning 'Josh' in Hawaiian. Using mark making techniques, predominantly dots and lines, he reassembles selected imagery to inquisitively explore the repetitive and decorative construction of an image itself, portraying the fragility and equality of a subject regardless of its subject matter. Challenging imagery we as a community perceive in a certain way because of culturally enforced stereotypes. |
