Introduction	If you've followed this blog for the last few years (thanks) you will know that I started blogging at the beginning of a backpacking trip with no particular end in mind. I wanted to see Flamingo's and places they lived and places in between. I went some places with Flamingo's and lots of places without. I got sick of being hot, and booked a walking holiday in Scotland - and met my husband. So these days I am an Australian, living in Scotland married to an Englishman. I am mum to Rafa and Finn. I still struggle to answer the question 'what do you do?' I write- always have always will. I edited and published the book 'You Won't Remember This' travel with babies'.
Interests	I am still a cloud gazer, textile artist, upholsterer, thimble collector, reader and a list maker. I have not managed a yarn bomb in quite a few years, but I know one when I see it and it always makes me smile. So if you are a yarn bomber keep at it. Make yarn bombs not war. I still love words, pictures, coloured pencils, beaches, stories, libraries and museums, travel and staying in. I absolutely need more bookshelves, floor space, picture hooks and a desk. More recently I joined twitter and am loving discovering all the wonderful people doing great things out in the world.
