| Introduction | I am a hopeless homebody who somehow also has a passion for travel and adventure. I love exploring new places, especially in the out-of-doors. But I also love lazing around the house with a good book and/or a cup of tea. Hiking to hidden waterfalls. Knitting scarves and mittens. Going on road trips. Poring over photo albums. These two halves equally make up who I am, and sometimes I have trouble reconciling them. But underneath it all, I find my true identity is in Christ. It is a life-long journey, learning to put my faith in Him, but there is nothing more rewarding or fulfilling. Since getting married, Ben and I have lived in Taiwan, Yellowstone National Park, and Chicagoland, and are now transplanting back to our roots in the Southeastern US. Our lives are anything but predictable and ordinary, but we wouldn't have it any other way. In the future, I imagine I will be living on a farm, traveling around the world, sewing my own clothes, running a bed and breakfast, and camping every weekend. I suppose at some point I'll have to narrow down this list, but for now, it's fun to dream. :) |

I'll make a new life for myself in a dandelion field on the edge of the forest so that no one will detect my scent. I'll build myself a little log cabin and spend my free time watching the clouds and climbing trees and reading lots of books.
