| Introduction | I spent 1996 through 2006 working as a publications professional, specifically in the field of academic journals copyediting. My educational background includes a B.A. in English and an M.A. in linguistics, focusing on second-language acquisition and ESL writing, which I taught for four years as a graduate teaching assistant at LSU. I have recently completed my master's degree in library and information science from Wayne State University and now work as an academic librarian at the University of Texas at Arlington. |
