Introduction After 41 year's of marriage, an assortment of jobs and moves, I have learned a lot and would like to learn a lot more. My motto is "never stop learning and never wear comfortable shoes." That will become a bit clearer as you get to know me. Nothing would make me happier if I can offer tid-bits of wisdom I have learned along this journey of discovering life and learn from you, the reader.
Interests Quilting, gardening, cooking, people, babies, animals, well, just about everything. I am passionate about fighting injustice, racism and ignorance. If I want to find an answer to something, I never give up until I do. I learned computers as an adult (through the help of my brother) and am still learning. I photograph things of interest...like food and plants. If you see a picture you like on my blog, feel free to ask about it.
Favorite Movies Fav of all time has to be Casa Blanca. Next would be The Graduate, Animal House, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, High Noon, Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall, any Jackie Chan movie, Babe, Bagdad Cafe, My Cousin Vinny, The Visitor, any Bollywood movie, Julie & Julia, Marlie and Me, National Velvet, The Magnificent Seven (first one is fantastic), Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Constant Gardener, Danny Deckchair, any movie with Jack Nicholson, John Klese or Angelica Huston.
Favorite Music All music but rap..too hard to dance to.
Favorite Books The Good Earth, Free, Dreams of My Father, Audacity of Hope, Michael Connally Harry Bosch novels.

You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?

I would make a sling shot. The olive pits would be covered in glue. So, whoever is walking around with an olive pit stuck on their forehead or their behind will be identified as my "hit."
