| Introduction | Raised on the beaches of San Diego, Bill Russell now shuttles between Cavour South Dakota and Ramona, California, where he happily spends his days visiting daughters, when he’s not writing. An ardent story teller all of his life, he didn’t start putting the tales on paper until his retirement in 2001. Since then he has written numerous novels and short stories where he has mixed a fascination for the sea with rich character studies, exciting scenes and fast-paced action but always with an eye to those two most wondrous of all human emotions, love and laughter. |
