| Introduction | Manmohan Sadana retired as Joint Director General, Ministry of Tourism. Prior to this posting he was Regional Director (East Asia), India Tourism, Tokyo. He has experience of working as the Head of India Tourism Offices in Stockholm and Paris with additional charge of India Tourism Offices in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Dubai and Johannesburg. To New Delhi, he brings with him an indepth experience of promoting Incredible India in the European, West Asian and African markets. In the Ministry of Tourism's headquarters he has looked after the Hotel and Restaurant. & Travel Trade Divisions and the Overseas Marketing and Hospitality Division. Before joining the Ministry of Tourism he worked in the Hotel Sales and Marketing Division of the Ashok Group of Hotels and started his career in the Bank of America. A postgraduate in English Literature with diplomas in Marketing and Sales Management and PC applications he is a discerning traveller and has visited about 130 cities in 30 countries of the world. A keen player of the mandolin he believes that Life is a journey and the world a continuous cinerama and what we learn in life is on account of our Hindsight - Insight - Foresight. |
