Introduction	My name is Jan Dymond and I live in Toronto, Canada. I wear many hats in my day to day life, but this blog is for my photography - the one passion that has stayed constant throughout my life. I studied photography under Michael De Moree who continues to inspire me decades later through his blog - Silverpixel. After working for a short period for a weekly newspaper in the early seventies, career opportunities took me in a different direction. However, three years ago, I picked up my cameras again. At the same time I enrolled at Ryerson's CE photography program going right back to the basics with darkroom 101. So the term 2nd Curtain is more than a technical reference - it reflects my return to photography. My main interest is in documentary photography; however, this blog will include a variety of images. As I develop individual projects I will post links to their galleries. The photos I post to this blog are a combination of digital and scanned film images, both current and from my archives.
