Introduction I am a former sports writer at the Las Vegas Sun and sports writer, real estate editor of the Las Vegas Review-Journal who is now making a living as a freelance writer, advertising consultant and auto racing announcer/publicist. In addition, I am the author of "Through the Darkness: One Man's Fight to Overcome Epilepsy" that was written following brain surgery conducted Dec. 6, 1994 at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, Calif. The surgery not only changed my life, but probably saved it, too, as I now enjoy a life without seizures and the medications used to combat the disorder for more than 30 years. The nickname "Mad Dog" was given to me more than 30 years ago by Review-Journal desk man Tom Brown, who noticed my persistence as a sports writer and promptly announced in the news room the emergence of "Mad Dog Henle."
Favorite Music Neil Diamond, Creedence Clearwater Revival and anything else from the 1960s and 1970s.

Who was the person or company who came up with the "stated income" policy in mortgage lending? The idea was a bad one and led us into the current economic state.
