| Introduction | I'm one of a few students from the Unversity of Washington to have received the prestigious Bonderman Fellowship--basically a fat chunk of change to be used to wander around the world. While I haven't sorted out all my feelings about receiving so much money JUST to travel and from a rather well-off high risk investor (yes, I google searched Mr. Bonderman!), I am very grateful for the opportunity to just travel. As my British dive master said before a course in Utila, Honduras: "The secret to life is living it." Or maybe he said "Live life, don't let it live you." Either way it's still provided me a mantra to guide my travels. |
