| Introduction | I'm basically a talkative country bumbkin from Sligo in the North West of Ireland who graduated from a two teacher rural primary school through an all boys Catholic boarding school and an (at the time) unheard of university degree (Communications) to spend the last 20 plus years working in PR in Ireland. Since 2003 I have run / managed / led one of Ireland's top PR houses and in so doing have had insight to many of the bigger events and stories of the last decade in Ireland - particularly events in busines and politics. That said, I'm still a punter, on the outside looking in. When I'm not working I'm with my family (wife and three daughters) and I'm still hooked on any sport - most especially ball games - even if the first two priorities in life limit my time to be involved. At this stage in life, I'd have thoughts on many things in the world, much of which are half formed or half informed (these I will keep to myself) and the odd one that is grown up enough to let out... which I'll try to post here. |
