| Introduction | I'm a wife and mother of two, here in the heat of the south. Born and raised here in TN, the south is deeply rooted in me and all of the good things I've learned I hope to pass down to my girls. All my life I've been told that I'm blunt, as if it were a bad thing! Blunt isn't bad, tactless is, and there is a difference. Don't ask me something if you don't want the truth...that's how I roll. My poor virgo husband, my complete opposite, my well-grounded love puts up with my aries self and keeps me focused and is definitely the most positive influence in my life. Together we have a warped sense of humor, but it works for us and keeps us laughing, even when times get hard. I am not religious, which is a difficult way of life in this area, especially when it comes to child-rearing. However I am an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church, strictly for the purpose of being able to officiate unions of all kinds. Everyday is a new lesson toward trying to be a better person and parent, and I'm learning as I go. After all, isn't that what being an adult is all about? |
