| Introduction | I'm on a journey. I've sipped caipirinhas at Copacabana Beach, climbed alone the highest tip of Corsica, prayed in the Notre Dame, the Taj Mahal and the Sistine Chapel, thrown coins into the Fountain of Trevi. I've learned to speak in 5 languages. Gotten lost at the Louvre, bhangra danced in Delhi, surfed in Biarritz, driven through the vineyards of the Loire Valley, sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge, watched rainbows, shooting stars, sunrises on a volcano in Hawaii, and sunsets over the frozen Baltic Sea. I've driven like crazy on HWY 1, gotten drunk dancing, and danced like I was drunk. I've shaken hands with Bill Clinton. Given & received roses. I've run, and been run over. I've held a dying dog, and said 'good bye' without holding. I've sung in the shower, and cried in the shower. I've sweated in pleasure and in pain. It's about understanding the world, the people in it and around me. I'm beginning to connect the dots. And I'm just now really getting started. |
