Introduction	I am an artist and a teacher. My work is magic realist in nature, as I make pictures that bend the laws of reality to express my perception of life and humanity. I teach introduction to art and I also teach global popular culture as a general education course at the university level. Both courses feed my work, one in a technical way, the other by helping my work to grow in terms of content and context.
