| Introduction | Aufidius Victorinus was a lifelong friend of Marcus Aurelius. He was a consul, legate in Germany, proconsul in Africa, and prefect of the City. He has been speculated as being the person who saved both the Meditations and the Letters of Fronto. I think it is an apt name for someone studying Marcus. |
