| Introduction | It's Time to Spread My Writing Wings and Let my Dormant Skills Fly. I've had moderate success, one of my stories, "Transition", received an Honorable Mention in the 79th Writer's Digest Writing Competition. Since then I've submitted a couple of more stories but none have been accepted - yet. Back to the drawing board! More rewrites! More Studying! More Reading! I'll keep plugging away because I love it so. Isn't rejection a writer's middle name? |
| Interests | Writing, Art, Music. I love the new, the strange and original. Something my mother always despaired of, but there you have it. |
| Favorite Movies | It's a Wonderful Life, Vertigo, Shadow of a Doubt. I love all of Hitchcock's and Dario Argento's movies (okay not all of his)! I love to watch foreign movies and documentaries except now I can't watch them late at night because I certainly can't keep my eyes open to read the subtitles. |
| Favorite Music | Blue October, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Richmond Knights. So many more, too many to mention. |
| Favorite Books | Caribou Island, Love Songs for the Shy and Cynical, Fifteen Modern Tales of Attraction, Taina Hershman, Hanif Kureishi, Adam Marek, Jayne Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, The Prince of Tides, Legend of a Suicide, and many more. I love the classics and if I had time, would re-read each and every one of them again. I've fallen in love with the short stories again and you'll usually find me reading them on my Blackberry or on my laptop. Who needs a Kindle??? |
