| Introduction | The Dr. Beverly J. Robinson Community Folk Culture Program at Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center teaches youth to identify, document and present folk artists and bearers of traditions from the community back to the community. The FC Program runs year-round. Currently, we are collaborating with the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage for its project "The Will to Adorn." The Will to Adorn explores the connection between identity and adornment in the African-American (Diasporic) community. |
