Introduction	** Translation: "The Sparrow" Born in Oxford, England, in 1963 Moved to the Land of Oz in 1970 Discovered online forums in the 1980s in the days of Viatel and 1200/75 modems and operated the "Split Infinity" bulletin board on the FIDOnet network prior to the proliferation of the WWW. Interests include archery, boating, camping, diving, building and renovations, historical research coupled with online debating. Favoured fiction authors (in no particular order) include Peter F. Hamilton, Dan Simmons, Stephen Donaldson, and Douglas Adams. Countries visited include America, Canada, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, New Zealand, the UK, and typical tourist Europe/EU, oh and But Of Course, Bali. There is "no place like home" and it is my view that we have got it better here in our Land Of Oz than anywhere else I've visited. Favorite places in Oz include Coral Bay, the Wellington Dam area near Collie, Matilda Bay, Rottnest Island, Point Sampson, Karajini, Smiggins-Perisher Ski fields, Cairns, Uluru, the Gold Coast, the Tamar river in Tasmania, and out of Oz, Queenstown NZ. **
Favorite movies	The Moon Landing, My mum projecting without sound, Abbott and Costello, Australiens ... so many funderful moments. A Wonderful life. :-)
