| Introduction | Hello, I am a senior, having just recently graduated from Middle Age and landing flat on my can in this hoary, post-grad school of Advanced Aging...hip! hip!... OUCH!...WTF!? I'll have a talk with my course advisor after he wakes up from his nap, or else my physiotherapist. | Favorite movies | Casablanca (well, who doesn't?), the Maltese Falcon (natch) Arrival (interesting SiFi), Steve McQueen movies (OK I have a bit of a man crush on the guy!), Clint Eastwood movies (man crush #2) films by Akira Kurosawa: Bergman's films especially the Seventh Seal (who doesn't like Death personified by a guy dressed in a black cloak without any eyebrows?); film noir in general; Hitchcock, especially the Birds, films NOT MADE by M.Night Shyamalan; Inspector Morse TV dramas and lots of detective shows especially the Brits, who do murder and mayhem so stylishly!;The Handmaid's Tale, A Quiet Place--a thoughtful horror film; hey, I liked the sifi, Prometheus--so sue me! |
