IntroductionHello, I am a senior, having just recently graduated from Middle Age and landing flat on my can in this hoary, post-grad school of Advanced Aging...hip! hip!... OUCH!...WTF!? I'll have a talk with my course advisor after he wakes up from his nap, or else my physiotherapist. Aches and pains aside, life's not too bad, and given the global situation these days, living in Ontario, Canada, is a pretty good place to be...
Interestspottery, guitar, poemies,reading,doodling, a bit of weight training, Taoist Tai Chi, Yoga, hiking, biking,Pickleball (and snoozing after all the exercise). Most of all trying to keep my sanity!
Favorite moviesCasablanca (well, who doesn't?), the Maltese Falcon (natch) Arrival (interesting SiFi), Steve McQueen movies (OK I have a bit of a man crush on the guy!), Clint Eastwood movies (man crush #2) films by Akira Kurosawa: Bergman's films especially the Seventh Seal (who doesn't like Death personified by a guy dressed in a black cloak without any eyebrows?); film noir in general; Hitchcock, especially the Birds, films NOT MADE by M.Night Shyamalan; Inspector Morse TV dramas and lots of detective shows especially the Brits, who do murder and mayhem so stylishly!;The Handmaid's Tale, A Quiet Place--a thoughtful horror film; hey, I liked the sifi, Prometheus--so sue me!
