Introduction Twenty years of living in rural Whatcom County with mixed woodland, wetlands, and open pastureland all around aided the discovery of creative gifts I didn’t know were inside me. That first poem was a surprise. These words and images reflect my love for the small and large elements of the natural world. They speak of struggles in relationships as well as the grief of losing those I love. If you laugh or cry or nod your head in agreement with something you read then I’ve succeeded in sharing my gift. Dad first encouraged me in my artistic endeavors. I wish he were here to see this. With the support of my AE! sisters, I allowed myself to be called “artist”. The prayers of the women at the storage have upheld me in the darkest of times. Thank you, dear friends. Last, but not least, thank you, Dale for the computer. This has been so much fun! I believe human creativity is a gift from our Creator God. I offer this to honor You, Father, and, hopefully, bless others. Thank you, Jesus.
Interests God's beautiful creation, especially my own Eden; photographing that beauty; piecing quilt tops; reading and reading and more reading.
