| Introduction | Late 2010 I decided I was going to undertake one of the hardest, single day endurance events ever created.... The Leadville 100 (100 mile mountain bike race in Colorado). I have been mountain biking for years off and on and for the last year have started to step it up. I am married to my lovely wife Darla and have two wonderful children who question my sanity in this biking endeavor. I am a business owner with an office in Bethalto, Illinois and St Peters, Missouri. In my opinion (and Tracy Butler's who I stole this blog idea from and some of this text), the best way to live life is set an impossible goal and work towards it. Even if you don't make it, you will be so much better for trying than you would be if you didn't. Here is my story..... |
