IntroductionJulie Javellana-Santos was former content editor at the Ateneo's University Marketing and Communication Office (formerly University Communications and Public Relations Office) and has gone back to being a freelance jounalist. Julie edited for abs-cbnNEWS online, wrote for Arab News in Saudi Arabia and was a regular contributor to Philippine News in San Francisco, Filipinas Magazine in the US, and several local publications. Julie started her journalism career in the late 80's as a reporter for the now defunct Manila Chronicle for which she covered the police, the courts and the local governments. A few years later she transferred to the former Business Star and covered Shipping, the Bureau of Trade and the Stockmarket before going freelance. She then tried her hand at being an editor for abs-cbnNEWS.com just before transferring to Ateneo.
