Introduction Like a lot of people I’ve never really had a grip on managing my money. This became especially challenging when I got married. My only exposure to family finance as a kid was helping my dad address the monthly bills and over hearing my parents argue about money. Then one day I was offered a job in the marketing department of a credit union (not Coors Credit Union) and my life changed. I became aware that money isn’t just something that pays for stuff and that it doesn’t have to be something negative. My husband and I have suffered loads of money mishaps and recoveries. I swear I always learn stuff the hard way. But since that fateful day when I took a job that required me to get a financial grip I’ve been learning ever since. In this blog I wish to pass along what I’ve learned and am still learning. I am not a finance expert. I am a financial worrier. So I’ll dig up tips, tidbits and stuff you should know. Leave the worrying to me. The point is to make the money work for you, not the other way around.
