Introduction Full-time mom. Full-time wife. Full-time aspiring author. Part-time accounting clerk. I am left-handed. I talk to my computer. I sing at the top of my lungs in the car. I'd get a lot more done if I wasn't always searching for my keys.
Interests Writing, reading, and more writing. I am also addicted to Facebook, Twitter, and Diet Coke.
Favorite Movies A weird mix of comedies and musicals: Napoleon Dynamite, Office Space, Clueless, The Blues Brothers, Hair, Center Stage, Billy Elliot, Fame (the original), The Commitments, Moulin Rouge, Strictly Ballroom. I never tire of '80s Brat Pack movies: Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, St. Elmo's Fire, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Pretty In Pink, About Last Night. Best movie ever: The Princess Bride.
Favorite Music Nickelback and Theory of a Deadman are my favorite bands right now. Classic Rock is my all-time fave but I like a good mix of other kinds of music too. A random listing from my iPod: ABBA, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alanis Morissette, Aretha Franklin, Avril Lavigne, Barry White, Beatles, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Boston, Cake, Cheap Trick, Coldplay, CCR, Eagles, Earth Wind & Fire, Elvis Presley, Etta James, Fatboy Slim, Frank Sinatra, Golden Earring, Green Day, Guns N Roses, Harry Connick Jr, James Brown, John Lennon, Kelly Clarkson, Kiss, Lenny Kravitz, Louis Armstrong, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Maroon 5, Michelle Branch, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Neil Diamond, Nickelback, Patsy Cline, Prince, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Squeeze, Steve Miller Band, Stevie Wonder, Styx, Sugar Ray, The Doors, The Killers, The Monkees, The Who, They Might Be Giants, Van Halen, Will Smith, ZZ Top. Favorite Books Too many to mention here. Drop me off in the YA section of a book store, and I will be very, very happy. I also love early Stephen King- Carrie, Firestarter, Children of the Corn, and especially The Stand. Scott Westerfeld's Uglies series is phenomenal. Although I tend to like books with a darker edge, my sentimental favorite is Anne of Green Gables. I even named my daughter after Anne.

You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?

Forget the shoes. I'd wear my rainbow-striped toe-socks and WORK IT, baby!
