| Introduction | I play the piano, the flute, dabble in sports, and blog (obviously) also for the West Des Moines Patch. I love to read. I have been 1,000 feet into the earth in the Mollie Kathleen Gortner (She's an Iowan. Yay!) gold mine in Colorado. I have flown a two seater plane, supervised, of course, and swam with the dolphins. I have snorkeled several times, once in Asia where I attended a private school for 5 months. I saw tarsiers and the almost extinct Philippine Monkey-Eating Eagle. I also used to ride horses. I fell off six times! |
