Introduction I was born in San Diego, CA to a military family. When I was 5, my father, a Navy Seal, was transferred to VA where we lived for the next 23 years. About everyone in my family served in the military. On 9/12/2001, the day after the tragic incident of 9/11, I found myself in front of the Navy recruiting office (my future husband was across the country in front of the Marine Corp). I spent the next 5 years onboard the USS George Washington as a storekeeper and at Norfolk Naval Legal Office as the CMC's assistant. I met my husband 3 days after graduating boot camp, we married 2 1/2 months later and against all odds have been happily married for 9 years now with a beautiful son and daughter. At the end of my 5-year enlistment in the Navy, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom. I went to school full-time and graduated last September (2010) with a 4.0 GPA bachelors in Criminal Justice. This year (2011) we finally moved to Saint George, Utah. I am still a stay-at-home mom and recently my husband and I started a publishing company where I am taking on the role as senior editor. I am also working on a historical-fiction book and a fictional series for young adults coming soon!
