IntroductionWhat to say. I am a divorced single mom of a wonderful young son of eleven. I love to laugh, poke fun and my tongue stays in cheek a terrible lot of the time. Oh, don't get me wrong, I can write the depressing blog or poem or two..but am honestly, generally a happy person. That whole goth thing was a LONG time ago...I'm real and most of the time say what's on my mind without being confrontational. I do have strong convictions on things and hope you do too. What's life without taking a stand or two? I've been through some things, but who hasn't? And it's only made me stronger and the person i am today. And while MOST people are okay with that..those of you who aren't..well go visit another person's page and be NICE.
InterestsHmm. Lots and open to more. Outdoor festivals..if they require a costume, well I could be up for that, concerts, movies, anything that involves music, art festivals, exploring, pina coladas and getting caught in the rain...comedy clubs, especially improv places.
Favorite moviesDear Frankie, Mozart and the Whale, Serendipity, Fools Rush In, Excalibur, Californication (the series on DVD...that counts, right?), Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, Emperor's Club, Any eighties movie just about, Pay it Forward, Iron Man, A Walk in the Clouds, The Woodsman, As Good As it Gets, the Italian Job...I just love movies...
Favorite musicIndie, Ken Andrews, Nine Black Alps, Nickelback, very little, but occasional Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, Seether, Simple Plan, obscure eighties bands, TRIUMPH!! Metallica, Rush, Yes, Jethro Tull, Mommas and Papa's...I even like the rare, but occasional Rap. RARE. I love the Lt. Kje Suite by Prokovfiev. marriage of...the cello is amazing and so incredibly moving.
Favorite booksFeel the Fear and do it anyway, Notes to Myself, by Hugh Prather, Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau, Hearthrobs...an antigue book I have. Ask me about it. IT's GREAT.
