Introduction	Pesante Cuisine is a food blog created by Joe & Raina Pesante. We value family time in the kitchen and we love trying new foods and developing our palates. Many of our most cherished family memories are centered around cooking together. Raina grew up experiencing fresh vegetables from her family’s massive sustainable gardens. Freshly picked produce is Raina's specialty. Joe grew up with a diverse palate, he is half Puerto Rican from his father's side, and he's had the opportunity to eat many Puerto Rican and Caribbean dishes. His mother’s side resides near the Atlantic Ocean in Virginia Beach, summer visits allowed for fresh Atlantic seafood...Blue Crab being his favorite! We're excited to share flavors with you from around the globe.
