| Introduction | Mukti. Though it's not a direction translation, the word Mukti in Sanskrit means 'liberation', 'self-realisation' and is referred to the state of 'enlightenment'. It is this word, along with the discovery of certain Buddhist principles, that has inspired me to write again. I've decided to refresh and update my blog. The last one was introspective, but in the worst sense of the word. It was whiney, it was depressing, and most of all-- it was self-indulgent. I pledge to make my new blog: Colourful - to remind us of the beauty in the world. Rich - to share information and wisdom on the body, mind and spirit. Uplifting - to encourage a positive outlook on life. Emotional - so that we understand the beauty of having weaknesses and making mistakes. Creative - so that we never forget our passions. Inspiring - to remind and motivate us to live happier and freely. Warning: This is not going to be a religious spiel. It may, however, be bordering spirituality, hippie talk, health nut obsession, vegetarian and veganism, alternative practices and the likes. If these words make you feel uncomfortable - great - you're meant to be here and all readers are welcome. |
